2. Data We Collect

Identity: name, email, phone number
Travel: passport number (first 3 chars only), nationality, destination, dates
Payment: processed entirely by Stripe — we never see full card numbers
Technical: IP address, browser, timestamps

3. How We Use Your Data

Process invitation letter requests and payments
Connect you with a verified host in your destination country
Send booking confirmations by email
Respond to enquiries
Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

4. Stripe Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). Card details are tokenised by Stripe's JavaScript and never touch our servers. See stripe.com/privacy.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with your assigned invitor (name, email, travel purpose — necessary to issue the letter) and Stripe for payment processing. We do not sell your data.

6. Data Retention

Booking records are retained 7 years for financial compliance. Enquiry data is retained 2 years.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email: privacy@globalcommunityevents.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies for security (CSRF protection) and payment processing. No tracking or advertising cookies.
